PetroSense® Products

PHA-100 – The Portable Hydrocarbon Analyzer measures
and
quantifies petroleum hydrocarbons in the field and in real time
eliminating
delays associated with laboratory testing. The PHA also
eliminates the
need to use Freon 113 or other solvents to extract TPH
from solutions in
order to perform Infrared analysis. Several models of
these precision
instruments measure in water and/or vapor.
DHP
Digital Hydrocarbon Probe – Measures and quantifies ppm
levels of
petroleum hydrocarbons in situ and in real time. DHPs can be
used with
our continuous monitoring systems or as OEM sensors with
your data
logger. Can be remotely accessed and controlled through a
data logger
interface.
CMS-4000 – This Continuous Monitoring System
measures
hydrocarbons in water streams. It controls up to 4 DHPs and
can be used
to re-direct flow or can be remotely accessed and
controlled.
CMS-5000 – This Continuous Monitoring System is a
low-cost
alternative for owners/operators of ASTs & USTs. It
measures
hydrocarbons in water or vapor interchangeably and controls up
to 16
DHPs. It detects leaks from ASTs, USTs and pipelines;
monitors
remediation sites, wastewater discharge and storm water. Can
be
remotely accessed and controlled.
OilSense®-4000 – This
continuous monitoring system is specifically
designed to detect
hydrocarbons in produced water at oil production
platforms/facilities.
It operates for extended periods without operator
attention, and
features auto cleaning, auto zeroing and self-diagnostic
software. Can
be remotely accessed and controlled.
PetroSense®-1100 Pipeline Leak
Detection System – Developed in
conjunction with the IECC
three-dimensional epoxy wrap, Enviromat™.
This system can be linked via
satellite to a real-time Internet monitoring
and control
system.
LeoLink Remote Asset Monitoring

LeoLink units are designed to communicate via the Orbcomm
Satellite
Network. Orbcomm is optimized for data applications that will
transmit
up to 4,000 bytes of information every month. Utilizing
data
compression, LeoLink provides an inexpensive solution for
monitoring
remote assets.
LeoLink Features
include:
Immediate Notification of Lost Production by monitoring up
to six
(6) dry contacts and four (4) analog inputs
Faster
response/remediation procedures
Production data and/or
maintenance information available via the
custom website eliminating
the need to travel to the remote site
Control production without
a trip to the remote site, using operating
commands such as start /
stop or load / unload
Access information using a standard
Internet browser; no special
hardware or software is
required
Data Compression allows accurate and affordable transfer
of information
Summary reports provide data analysis in a clear
and concise format
Support for GPS
Via the Internet,
you can configure your remote unit. Options include:
Add or modify
notification messages for each monitored point
(Asset #1 Start, Unit
#100 Stop, Tank #123 Level Low)
Modify analog alarm setpoint
levels
Modify digital alarm states (normally open or normally
closed)
Change who is notified via alphanumeric or numeric pager
or
email. Each unit supports up to twelve notifications for each
event
GeoLink

Mobile and fixed asset monitoring powered by Iridium and
Norcom
Networks. Applications include the GeoLink 300 and the GeoLink
500 which
provide serial and Amot Hawk-I Modbus communications for
remote data
gathering. All products utilize the Operations Center,
allowing
you access to reported information via the Internet.
GeoLink 501 - The GeoLink 501A is designed to communicate
with the
OPTO22 controller interfaced with USA Compression remote
Natural
Gas Compressors. Analog data is collected in the field,
generating a
daily report including the current reading, average, daily
low and high for
the analog inputs. Remote asset alarms and daily
reports trigger a time
stamped message transmitted through the Norcom
Geo-synchronous
satellite network, to the Operations Center. Using
the
Norcom Geo-synchronous satellite network, the GEOLink 501A can
be
deployed throughout North America without requiring
local
communications infrastructure. Each remote asset
monitoring
system comes with a dedicated Internet web page for
monitoring the
remote asset and configuring the alarm broadcast system.
Providing the
customer with inexpensive and reliable loss-of-production
alarming and
data collection for storage and trending analysis.
OxySense

Oxygen Measuring System for the non-invasive measurement
of oxygen
within sealed packages. OxySense has applications in the food
and
pharmaceutical industries.
A novel optical method for the
non-invasive
determination of oxygen in packaged food: Up to now,
these measurements
were conducted in an optical laboratory with a lot of
complicated
equipment. The non-invasive method is, however, much simpler to
set-up
and operate. The instrument consists of a small box
containing the light source,
detector and the fiber reader pen
and is connected to a PC.
It can be used in a lab or outside
it.
Advantages of the OxySense 101 System
Measuring
oxygen without opening the package (non-destructive measuring
technique)
Fast measurement (0.1 second) Specially suited
for time series
Accuracy 5% of the reading without individual
calibration for a time series of 2 months
Detection limits,
typically 0.01 mg/l in water or 0.02% by volume in gas
Easy to
operate, can be used in water and air
Independent of pH (2-12)
and salt concentration
No interference from gases used in food
packaging
These days a large part of pre-packaged food is
packaged in a Modified
Atmosphere (MA). MA packaging is one of the most
advantageous ways of keeping
perishable products fresh. The basic
features of this process
are hermetic seals, high barrier film and gas
injection to reduce
the oxygen content inside the packs.
