Variable Area Flowmeters can be
used in a wide variety of applications,

High performance at lower

The VFM 3100 flowmeters have the high accuracy and
rangeability of positive dis-placement and
turbine flowmeters without
the mechanical complexity and high cost. Calibrated flow
rangeability
is 15:1 (with a useful range as high as 40:1 in liquids
and 100:1 in gases and steam) compared to
3:1 for a differential
pressure producer (orifice plate). Because the VFM 3100 have no moving
parts,
they are very durable and reliable. This simplicity of design
ensures low initial cost, low operating and
maintenance costs, and
therefore contributing to an overall low cost of ownership.
