LIQUID CONTROLS

Positive Displacement Meters

With Liquid Controls full line of PD, Mag, Turbine and Mass flow meters,
customers can be given a truly Application Driven solution for almost any
metering requirement without sacrificing the quality, accuracy, reliability, and
lowest total cost over time that Liquid Controls customers have come to expect.

Positive Displacement Meter

Meters provide exceptionally accurate service when using
Liquid Controls' unique positive displacement metering
principle, even under variable operating conditions (changes
in temperature, pressure and viscosity). Provides the energy
efficient and functional performance desired from an
economical volumetric measuring instrument. Available with
traditional mechanical seal or glandless magnetic driven
pulse output device.

METER FEATURES
High accuracy and repeatability
Low maintenance, no metal-to-metal contact in measuring chamber
Low pressure loss, a true gravity flow meter
Choice of aluminum, cast iron, brass and stainless steel materials of construction
Self-contained operation without electrical power or signal conditioning (for units equipped
with mechanical registers, printers or presets); no special piping requirements
Electronic output and registration equipment where enhanced accuracy and electronic
communications are needed
Weights & Measures approval (world-wide) for custody transfer with mechanical or
electronic registration systems meeting API standards

Electromagnetic Flow Meters

The LCMag family of electromagnetic flow meters
offers the best solution for measuring the flow of electrically conductive liquids.
A production sensor consists of a stainless steel pipe section
internally lined with insulating material. PTFE, Polypropylene and Ebonite (hard rubber)
liners are available. The two electrodes are positioned opposite each other on the
internal surface of the pipe. The coils which generate the
magnetic field are placed outside the pipe. The complete sensor has an external NEMA 6-6P
(IP67/68) protection rating which guarantees the integrity of the magnetic circuit and protects the
instrument against the external environment. The choice of materials in contact with the fluid (lining,
electrodes, etc.) depends on the temperature, the chemical aggressiveness of the liquid
and the degree of abrasion of the liquid.

Coriolis Mass Flow Meter

The LCMass by Rheonik is a patented Coriolis mass flow meter with unique construction
features that solve the problem of directly measuring the mass flow of liquids and gases.

Positive displacement, electromagnetic, and turbine meters are VOLUMETRIC meters that
measure in volume units. Coriolis mass meters, in contrast, measure MASS UNITS (weight).
Such measurements are common in many industries including the chemical industry
for weight-based batching and blending.

The LCMass meters stand apart in industrial applications in these important areas:
High accuracy for low flow applications below the practical limits of volumetric meters
High temperature applications to 660°F         High-flow and high-pressure applications

A complete installation includes an RHM Flow Sensor, and an RHE Remote Transmitter.

Turbine Meter

ABSOLUTE ACCOUNTABILITY IN TURBINE METER TECHNOLOGY
LC Turbine Meters offer unsurpassed accuracy, efficiency and service life, and meet most liquid
or gas flow measurement applications. LC Turbine Meters are available in stainless steel
or corrosive series with a hydraulically balanced turbine rotor (no thrust bearing) and rugged,
compact construction for the most accurate and reliable measurement available. Flow
ranges are from 0.25 to 12,000 GPM and temperatures from -450°F (-268°C) to +1,000°F
(+538°C). A wide variety of electronic instrumentation and components complete your flow needs.
