TRIDENT METER 
MODEL PD765 

The Trident is an all new Universal Panel Meter that handles all the common process display
applications with simplicity, reliability, accuracy and ease. It is factory calibrated to accept
process voltage and current inputs, 100 ohm platinum RTDs and the four most common
thermocouples. Setup and programming is a jumper-free, single switch, snap using the simple
four-button programming method or a computer. And if there are multiple meters to be
programmed, the Trident's Copy capability allows one meter's setup to be
 automatically copied to another meter!  3 Year Warranty

 Universal Temperature Meters
 handle temperature displaying, alarming and re-transmitting applications
with simplicity, accuracy and reliability.

 The PD750 is available with up to 4 relays,
 isolated 4-20 mA output, and is factory programmed for easy field selection of the
thermocouple or RTD type. Just select your input type (J,K,T,E,R,S thermocouple or 100 ohm
RTD), and either Fahrenheit or Celsius and connect the sensor. The PD751 and PD752 have the
same features as the PD750; the PD751 accepts 10 ohm copper RTD inputs and the PD752 accepts
120 ohm nickel RTD inputs. 

The PD650 Large Display Universal Process Meter

Features 2.3" high digits housed in a rugged die cast aluminum NEMA 4X enclosure.
 The PD650 accepts the common process signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, and 0-10 VDC.
 It has dual 24 volt isolated power supplies for both the input and output loops and built-in relay suppression for more consistent relay operation. The PD650 can also function as a flow rate/totalizer.
 Features include: alternating rate/total display, programmable time base of second,
minute, hour or day, automatic total reset, square root extraction, and many more. The PD650 can
be modified to provide up to 100 mA to drive mass flowmeters, ultrasonic level transmitters and
other devices that require more than 20 mA to drive them.

The PD755 is a Large Display Temperature Meter
 housed in a rugged  NEMA 4X enclosure that can also be used as a linearized temperature transmitter.

 The PD755 accepts the common
thermocouples, J,K,T,E,R and S as well as 100 ohm platinum RTDs and displays them on a large
1" high 4 ½ digit LED display. Options for the PD755 include up to four relays for alarm and
control and an isolated 4-20 mA transmitter output. An isolated 24 VDC power supply is available
as a standard feature on AC powered units to power the transmitter output. 

The PD756 is a Large Display Temperature Meter
 housed in a rugged explosion-proof enclosure
that can also be used as a linearized temperature transmitter. The PD756 accepts the common
thermocouples, J,K,T,E,R and S as well as 100 ohm platinum RTDs and displays them on a large
0.8" high 4 ½ digit LED display. Options for the PD756 include up to four relays for alarm and
control and an isolated 4-20 mA transmitter output. An isolated 24 VDC power supply is available
as a standard feature on AC powered units to power the transmitter output. An optional magnetic
key is available to operate and program the meter without having to remove the enclosure cover.

4-1/2 digit Loop-powered meters 
Display numbers up to 19,999 with 1 count resolution.

 That is, they will display numbers like 7124, 15697 or 124.78 as "whole numbers" -- no
dummy zeroes or multipliers needed! These new meters are also available in 3 enclosure types:
Panel mount, NEMA 4X, and Explosion-proof so they can be located almost anywhere in the
plant. Options include open collector high-level-alarm output and square root extraction. The
PD677-N-EX, PD677-A-EX, PD678-N-EX and PD678-A -EX have been FM, CSA and CENELEC
approved as explosion-proof as complete products- not just the enclosures.

VIGILANTE® four-point annunciator
 with First-out gives operators a simple, clear, ear and eye catching annunciator 
that handles urgent alarms and routine status messages. 


It directly handles alarm outputs from meters, alarm relays, logic levels (5v-28v) and
switches for temperature, pressure, flow, level and proximity parameters. Change of status is
announced by LEDs, built-in pulsating horn and relay for remote indication. The PD141AFO can
be field programmed for ISA Sequence A, to detect momentary or maintained alarms or ISA
Sequence F2A (First-out) which detects momentary and maintained as well as which alarm occured
first. The front panel is NEMA 4X rated. Two VIGILANTES® can be connected together to form
an 8 point system with first-out capability. Alarm message labelling can be performed in the field
or at the factory with laser-printed labels at no charge.
