The Varec 8240 Tactical Data Unit (TDU) collects pressure, temperature and flow measurements from connected field devices, such as the Varec 7660 (TFG) or a Tactical Flow Meter (TFM). The 8240 TDU calculates observed fuel volumes and performs the collapsible tank mapping process. All data is transferred to the TacFuels Tactical Mobile Computer for inventory management and accounting.
  • IECEx and ATEX approved (SGS) for use in hazardous areas
  • Suitable for large tactical fuel farms
  • Integrates up to four Varec 7660 Tactical Fuel Gauges (TFG) & four Tactical Flow Meters
  • Calculates corrected fuel volumes to 60°F in accordance with API Tables 5b & 6b
  • All power & communications cables are connected via military style quick connects/disconnects
