OPW Engineered Systems 6400 Series Horizontal Valves are designed to shut off the flow without causing damaging shock in the pipeline. The spring loaded "Deadman Operation" feature in the 6400 requires the valve to be manually held in the open position which then automatically closes upon release of the handle.
